CROP Hunger Walk Facts
- The 2009
Elkhart County CROP Hunger Walk raised $25,555.
- CROP HUNGER
WALKS were held in 33 Indiana and Kentucky communities durng
Fall 2009-Spring 2010.
- The Elkhart
County CROP Hunger Walk is the THIRD LARGEST CROP Hunger Walk
in Indiana.
- Church World Service grants equivalent to 25% of what we
raise are shared with Church Community Services in Elkhart
and The Window in Goshen.
- 375 Walkers
participated in the Elkhart County CROP Hunger Walk. That
is
an average of $68.14 per Walker.
- Since
1984, more than $8.8 million has been raised through CROP
Hunger Walks
and farm-related programs in this region (Indiana and Kentucky.)
