CROP Hunger Walk Facts
- The 2006
Elkhart County CROP Hunger Walk raised $55,825.
- CROP HUNGER
WALKS were held in 26 Indiana and Kentucky communities durng
Fall 2006-Spring 2007.
- The Elkhart
County CROP Hunger Walk is the SECOND LARGEST CROP Hunger Walk
in Indiana.
- Church World Service grants equivalent to 25% of what we
raise are shared with Church Community Services in Elkhart
and The Window in Goshen.
- 602 Walkers
participated in the Elkhart County CROP Hunger Walk. That
is
an average of $92.73 per Walker.
- 40 Church
and Organizations participated (That is an average of $1,550.70
per group.)
- Since
1984, more than $8.8 million has been raised through CROP
Hunger Walks
and farm-related programs in this region (Indiana and Kentucky.)
- This is
the 28th year for the Elkhart County CROP Walk.
